Real estate litigation: I represent buyers and sellers in residential or commercial real estate matters. I am a licensed real estate broker in California, with vast real estate litigation experience, including cases involving claims of breach of contract, breach of sale, non-disclosure issues, broker or agent disputes, boundary line disputes, ownership disputes, zoning or permit issues. My seven years on the Manhattan Planning Beach Commission gives me a perspective not shared by many attorneys.
Estate planning: I have a robust estate planning practice built on helping people create a comprehensive estate plan that outlines health care, financial wishes and a plan for the distribution of assets at death. I draft instruments such as wills and trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
Estate administration: I represent administrators and named or potential beneficiaries in probate and probate litigation, whether the decedent died intestate or had a will. I assist in obtaining the exemptions from real property tax increases where possible. I have handled many sales of real property from estates if desired by the personal representative.
Trust administration: I assist trust administrators to help them understand their role and obligations, and I offer counsel on how to minimize liability exposure for the estate. I make sure the required legal notices are timely given.
Personal injury: I represent victims of injuries resulting from car accidents, animal attacks, pedestrian accidents, and slips and falls. I also handle premises liability claims and wrongful death suits; in addition, I represent victims of car accidents with uninsured motorists.
Business law: I handle business formation and incorporations, LLCs, corporate business, drafting and reviewing documents.
Civil litigation: I litigate claims such as breach of contract and failure to pay on a note.
